Technology has developed in daily life, becoming not a physical luxury instrument but useful necessity in social life. Computers have become a very important tool for everyone on planet Earth, especially in careers, since they are utilized to save and process information. One example is Architecture.

Why and how do Architects use computers these days? Most stages of Architecture use computers to increase accuracy and speed of work. Since an Architect’s’ job is to design physical structures such as buildings, homes, and school, they need to base their ideas on “construction planning”. Blueprints, originally drawn by hand, have been replaced by computer-generated construction documents. Computers make Architects’ job easier by providing special software, such as ArchiCAD, Chief Architect, Punch Software, Autocad Architecture, and Vectorworks Architec which allow Architects to create their designs. By doing this, they can see how their three-dimensional design will look once it has been constructed.

Another reason of why Architects use computer is to prepare presentations of building proposals for the clients. These presentations depend on computers for the creation of image boards, brochures, formal reports, and slideshows.

Computers also help Architects to complete their business functions such as communicating with clients, keeping records and researching. Additionally, architects need to use the computer to send images, messages and files because the collaboration between the members in charge of the project designed.
