He treats her to fancy dinners, luxury vacations, clothing and jewelry, a stunning engagement ring and extravagant wedding.

Having thus proved his love, and having paced it just right, he ends his outlandish spending upon their return from the honeymoon.  To fund it all, he had emptied his bank accounts, cashed out his retirement savings, reverse-mortgaged his home, sold his automobiles, and amassed a huge debt.

Would his new wife feel loved and desired enough based on his generosity up through the honeymoon, and stand by her man as they work together to save up again?

Or would she prefer to leave the penniless loser and attach herself to a man who “knows how to treat a woman?”
