Open Question: Yes, Jehovah’s Witnesses Constantly Complain to the Elders: We are Really Tired, When will We Find Relief?

Yes, brothers, we are all tired, we are all stressed to the max, and we know that God’s Kingdom will satisfy our needs soon!

I sat in the Kingdom Halls for 40 years, hearing this same cry from the literature fed, but Holy Spirit “unfed” members; “We are exhausted from our work in the field, but Jehovah is renewing us every day”…

I watched the old ones die, all of them believing they would not see death in the present system, and the new “young ones”, take their places, all of them also sure they would not ease death in this system either.
Or, “I am just so tired of the door to door work, with no one interested, and I am going broke…I just need a rest”…

Or, ” I know I told the elders how tired I am, but they said they needed me to get into service, because the younger ones are just not here to do the work…I know Jehovah appreciates my work, but where are the young ones to help me?”.

Or, “When will this system be over, we are struggling with each day, and we are not making our bills”.

And here is what we were told; “be patient, God is allowing you to be completely tested as to the quality of your faith”

Or, “Hang in there brothers and sisters, we have not been given the signal to stop preaching, so there must still be much work to do”.

Or , “God will not allow you to be tested beyond what you can endure”.

So we comforted ourselves with talking about the home of the rich we would take over after armageddon…

And my Favorite, “Just put it into Jehovah’s hands”.

They are not being “persecuted for righteousness sake” so why are they all so tired?

Why are they all so depressed”

Why are they working so much?

They kept telling me how “refreshed” the meetings would make me…but 40 years of trying to be “happy” when it was obvious that no one really was, was taking it’s toll.

Are they complaining because they are just plain worn out by the demands of a publishing company, to get those millions and millions of magazines and books out there?

Are they complaining because they do not have real Joy in the work they are doing?

If this load they are bearing is this heavy, to cause their constant complaints, why did they even choose to pick it up?

Isn’t Jesus’ load different than Moses’?

Matthew; 11, 28,30

Come to me all you who labor, and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Is their yoke light?

Is their burden easy?

Jesus said He would give His followers “rest”..

If it is truly Jesus they are serving, then why do they all complain of the burdens?
Thanks Harriet, and that is why I left them after 40 years of enduring lies and no love. Yes, there IS hope outside of their “organization”.

There is a loving God, who appointed His Son to be our King…but He is Not representing the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
If indeed the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses were under “Grace” they might not complain…but, as with Gehazi, they have lost something from their lives with all their cleverness and all their conveniences and comfort, something very precious: seeing the hand of God and marveling.

The tragedy of our civilization lies in our not seeing the world with all its beauty, its glory, its miraculous possibilities, its abundant opportunities as the gift of God, a revelation of God’s love, a miracle of grace, but seeing it only as something to exploit to use for our own selfish purposes.

That’s the tragedy - to face the world in the moment of revelation, when God’s love manifest in Christ lingers by us and to say, “All is well, give me I pray Thee, two changes of raiment and a talent of silver.”"All is well; All I need is pleasure, adornment and security.” That is the tragedy.

Gehazi thought that was what he needed when what he really needed was a mirac
miracle in his own life. He needed a miracle of grace to open his eyes, to make him see and appreciate God’s love and power in His world. And that is what we all need, a new vision of God’s love and power to redeem life, a new experience of God’s grace.

Only a realization of the grace of God manifest in Christ can save us from the tragedy of Gehazi.

And only by understanding truly who Christ is, can we understand the Grace by which we see through the Watchtower’s falsehoods.

Jesus was not the angel Michael..as Jesus was bodily resurrected “Flesh and Bone”, and His body was NOT dissolved in the tomb.

Until this is reconciled by Jehovah’s Witnesses, they are without Grace, and have not come to know the Christ, Jesus.

SAXA, with your view of things, you spirituality is on the ground floor with the Watchtower corporation building. We present facts against a false prophet, who is very cunning, and very slippery, like a serpent, and you stand in judgment of Christians that have experienced their treachery over many decades ?

We were blinded by the same “light” that you are looking at…and we paid the price for putting our trust in men, rather than Christ.

Will you make the same choice, or will you be calm, and do your research in a quiet and understanding undertone?

You need to become one of them, as millions of us had…I was there 40 years, others of us 50, and some 60 years…all have the same story. False Prophets with an agenda in opposition to Jesus Christ…Go ahead into them, head-long, and be a slave to men…when you see the trap, escape as we did. Then your voice will not protect what you do not yet know.
