Resolved Question: As a mother, do I have a legitimate reason to condone my daughter’s affair with my other daughter’s husband?

I’m a 60-year old widowed mother of two daughters; Cecilia is 39 and Holly is 36. Cecilia has done nothing but brought me shame and grief ever since she dropped out of college to be a housewife and eventually give birth to SEVEN children! I had such high hopes for her and she disappointed me. Holly, however, is my pride and joy. She’s educated and she’s a successful lawyer. Men seem so intimidated by strong, independent women so that’s why Holly isn’t married yet. She confided in me that she has been sleeping with Cecilia’s husband for over a year. At first, I was upset but now that I think about it, Cecilia’s husband is completely out of Cecilia’s league. He’s the VP at the insurance company he works for. Cecilia stays at home, cooks, cleans, eats, sleeps and gains weight. I’m concerned about her health. But Holly deserves the luxury that Cecilia is enjoying. Before I give Holly my blessing to continue this affair, do you agree or disagree with this idea?
