I am buying a house thats 5200 square feet. It has a mother in law apartment downstairs with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, about 2200 square feet. A huge kitchen and a huge family room, pretty legit. Anyways, I’m buying the house for $280K and my payments are about $1600 a month. I was wondering if there is any kind of equation to figure out what I should charge for rent. I can’t even find any comparables around here… I was thinking $1200 (this is a luxury huge home). I don’t know though, please help me out, thanks in advance!!!!
Like I said, nothing to compare it to! I just want a ROUGH figure! If you don’t have anything helpful to say, don’t waste your time! HINT (LANDLORD) I am not an idiot, I have looked at houses and none are comparable. This house is unique thats why I wanted a certain equation or something so I could get a rough estimate!
