My niece just had a baby two weeks ago and she is 16 years old,the boy she was dating works at a fast food place and he apparently cannot help pay for this circumcision.My mother and I have helped as much as we can buying diapers,clothes,baby furniture the whole thing.My sister had her daughter at 16 as well,doesn’t get child support and the father of my niece is MIA,my sister is married to a man (12 years) that is as lazy as a toad,they have been on welfare FOREVER ie: food-stamps,medicaid,other programs.She’s a waitress and he is “unemployed” (he got fired and he’s living off unemployment!) I told my niece I would take her on Friday for some baby clothes,thinking I could spend $50 or so.She then calls me that day asking to “borrow” $150,as is I am pregnant myself (29 yrs old) and not working being an at home wife I told her I had to ask my husband,well I did an it was a big fat NO.I respect my husband and would never do anything behind his back.I called her today (sunday) and I was trying to explain to my sister I could not help them and she cursed me up and down and though no matter that I have done SO MUCH my entire life money wise and every which a way she called me names,said “f- u” and I told her my cable bill was higher than I thought it would be her response? “not everyone can afford that luxury B***”

WHAT DO I DO? I don’t want to end my relationship with my niece but she’s turning out like her mom.I don’t need this stress and we are a tight knit family help me!
to add: they have known about this for 5 MONTHS.”Medicaid” won’t pay for the surgery and they have ONE DAY left!? I am sorry for the child it’s not his fault but I don’t feel I should take out of our savings to pay for another persons child Why are you answering this without reading.I am asking for help here To add: I hate to add so much but I guess I am venting here (: I have paid for my nieces clothes for YEARS as has my mother and my grandmother.We have done everything for my sister making it so EASY on her.It’s time she grew up.She is 32 years old!? I bought the baby everything I could,and though I have a LITTLE bit of money set aside we are not rich!? but because she has NOTHING she thinks I am an atm I bought my niece maternity clothes as well!?
