Resolved Question: Please help. Im at my wits end. Hes pushing all his friends away. What should I do?

Since the death of his friend my brother has changed so much. I know and understand that hes grieving and everyone grieves in different ways but his behavior has become totally unacceptablele

He used to bereallyaly outgoing loving boy but now its like he doesnt care about anything or anyone. Since his friends death he hasnt been to work and he no longer has a social life

He wont switch his phone on and he is no longinterestedted in the computer The majority of his days are spent laying on his bed sleeping or staring into spacompletelytel zoned out. Its actually quite scary

His good friends have made the effort by coming round to see them but he was so rude to them. He had one of the girls in tears!

He still lives at home so me my mum and dad have to put up with seeing him like this day in and day out and its really begining to take its toll on us. We just dont know what to do to help him. Every attempt we make just seems to get thrown back in our faces

Weve mentioned counselling to him but he made it clear that hes not interesed and was actually quite annoyed at te suggestion. Hes 23 so we cant force him into anything

I really am at my wits end. Hes making me dislike living at home. Im only 17 and dont drive so I cant get away from it all
