Resolved Question: Qualifications Needed To Design Houses/Beach houses?

I have an aspiration to Design and maybe oversee the construction of Luxury Homes and Beachouses.

Im not quite sure what qualifications i need.

I was a carpenter for 3 years after school , qualifying to a foremans level. Now im at University. Im studying for a HND in consturction. After Ill enter the second year of a degree.

Im not yet sure what one i want to go for. I dont want to be a Quantity Surveyor. or a Construction Manager.

I was interested in the Architectual Technology Degree. But its not clear what this job really leads on to yet. I have decent AutoCad and Visio skills and really enjoy the designing side of my HND .

I dont have the will to take a full Architecture degree as its 7 years.

If anyone has any knowledge or is in this field . Can you please let me know.

Also , i want to make like.. cool beach homes.. So if you live abroad and do this.. even better.
