Well i guess i should tell you the situation on guam.

Guam tends to be moving outward than inward, there are now several high wealth residential developments, there are few low wealth housing projects, and the majority of Guam is low density middle income homes with many homes already owned by the homeowner.

I’m not too sure about the job situation, but there are talks that because of the miltary thing here there could be more jobs available soon. and the governor seems to taking trips around asia talking about economic opportunities on guam.

It is predominately catholic and many seem to be very conservative. many churches in every village and some have two churches in one village i guess. The schools seem to be not all that great.

Their are two bases, a navy and an airforce.

hmm… i don’t know what else, i just want to know what city or place in the US can be compared to guam.

Oh, there are A LOT OF BANKS on guam, every where you turn there is a bank, it;s strange. There is a little commercial are i guess it is. Where there are four 8+ floor buildings. very capitalist oriented. a lot of luxury shops. it’s based on tourism

there are less that 200,000 people living on guam i think

However i live on Guam and you seem to hate Guam because you want too. Conservative?

Truthfully, of what i know, a lot of them work for the government because it originally was thought to be a good idea a long time ago and now no one can find work because the filipinos don;t mind being paid far less. And a lot of people just need to live and make some wages, the government provides some jobs.

I don;t know what you mean by clannish because they are very welcoming and nice.

arent all americans clannish? Whites stick with whites, black stick with blacks, etc.

you also have to know that on Guam, other islanders who live on more underdeveloped countries all over the pacific really come to guam with nothing, just some hope.

as for corruption tell me a place on the earth that doesn;t have corruption… the himalayas?
