I live in NC ,was 3 months behind in $418.00 payments and was paying approximately $500.00 to catch up, they stopped taking my checks.They started foreclosure .I went to court 2 times THEY postponed twice, it’s been 14 months and I’m still living in my Home.My father age 79 in my 1 BR condo I was 1 payment behind they added $9,000.00 to my payments saying I did not have proof of insurance and are trying to do the same thing,after 6 months and 100 phone calls to them and my HOA pays and sends them proof of the policy they took off like $7,900.00 and left me still behind a few thousand and reality was around $200.00 behind on a $516.00 mortgage so I sent my payment in they sent it back, next month I sent double they sent it back again forcing me again to try to take my property where my father lives who has cancer by the way and I’m taking care of my disabled brother in my residence .
The year has taking a great toll on me,mentally and physically .My doctor gave me nerve pills because I could barely function any more because of the stress I don’t even want to wake up anymore the little time I do sleep I worked at a big name plant for almost 10 years before they went over seas now I can not even hold a job because my nerves are so shot. Sometime I wish I can sign my self into a Mental institution but I have no insurance and every thing I own will probably be gone when I get out. I never missed a payment for 13 years now not only I will be out of a home and so will my father .
If someone has advice or some one I can contact I would be deeply greatfull .I never had any assistance of any kind in my life and can’t get any now because I purchased the condo for my father I have 2 hernias high blood pressure a prostrate infection or worse is what the Uroligist told me at a health fair but can not afford to go to his office . Just got over pnumonia went to the ER and put me on iv gave me prescriptions ,got some of the bills so I guess I did not qualify for charity care or any other assistance because of my father’s condo witch is upside down.
