All my friends seem to think my family is “rich.” We live in an upscale neighborhood in a new house. We have many designer brands and new phones, computers, tvs, ect. I just got a 2011 VW last year. We just bought a 2012 Audi. However, I think we are just middle class. Its just material items, right? I don’t nessisarily think that things make you “rich.”
There are some people a few houses down that live in a multi-million dollar house but drive old cars and don’t buy a lot of luxury items. I know they have money, but you wouldn’t really notice unless you went to their mansion of a home.
We have family friends who got 180 million for selling their company… Now I consider that rich.
What would you consider to be “rich”? Are my friends ignorant for calling me “rich”?
